E & D Transportation
| The
Red Cross Elderly & Disabled Transportation Services based in New
Britain and in Middletown provide a critical link for the elderly and
individuals with special needs. We transport people to medical
appointments, work, shopping, school, social visits, nutrition
programs and more. Through this vital service we keep our citizens
connected to their community and help them maintain independent
living.
The Red Cross administers these programs in conjunction with several social service agencies. Funding comes from state grants, participating towns, and donations. |
