The First Aid/CPR/AED Program was released on March 31,
2006. Aid and CPR/AED programs that will include the latest
science and educational innovations. Other lay responder
programs are First Aid—Responding to Emergencies, Blended
Learning First Aid/CPR/AED, Sport Safety Training and
Spanish Language First Aid/CPR/AED.
All currently authorized First Aid/CPR/AED, Workplace
Training: Standard First Aid, Sport Safety Training and
First Aid-Responding to Emergencies instructors must
complete an update to the new programs before July 1, 2006.
In addition, Emergency Response, Lifeguarding and CPR/AED
for the Professional Rescuer instructors who wish to teach
courses in the lay responder programs, should complete the
update before using the new materials.

are required to have the participant and instructor
materials for the lay responder program(s) they wish to
teach during the update. All course materials must be
PREPAID and instructors need to place their orders NOW!

to new Lay Responder Programs by December 1, 2006
NOTE: *The link for updates is only
visible to instructors who have indicated a Lay Responder (aka
Workplace Instructor) First Aid and CPR/AED authorization on their
Instructors Corner registration profile. If the link is not
present and you are eligible to update to the new programs, you need
to UPDATE YOUR PROFILE. If you are not authorized to
teach from the Lay Responder programs, changing your profile and
completing the course will not authorize you to teach the new courses.
